Ambassador Arman Kirakossian presented his credentials to the President of Croatia

On December 1 Ambassador of Armenia to Croatia (with residence in Vienna) Dr. Arman Kirakossian presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Croatia Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. Following the ceremony, the sides discussed prospects of development of the Armenian-Croatian relations.

Prior to that, on November 29 and 30, Ambassador Kirakossian was received by Ms. Zdravka Bušić, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, by Mr Gordan Bakota, Assistant minister for Directorate for Political Affairs and by Mr Siniša Jurić, Assistant Minister for Directorate for Strategic and Security Affairs of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

Parties discussed the further continuation of the political dialogue between the two countries in order to promote bilateral and multileateral cooperation in economic, educational, cultural and other fields. Special reference was made to international organizations, especially to prospects of closer cooperation within the OSCE, PACE and UN bodies.


In Zagreb Ambassador Kirakossian met with the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Croatia Mr. Vedran Buratović and with representatives of the Croatian Armenian community, during which discussed issues related to bilateral ties.
