Meeting Between the Ambassador of Armenia and the Director General of the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior

On July 3, Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan held a meeting with Peter Webinger, Director General for Migration and International Affairs at the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria.

During the meeting, both sides highly valued the existing cooperation between Armenia and Austria in the field of migration and reaffirmed their strong commitment to its further development.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude for Austria’s consistent support of Armenia on migration-related matters.

They also discussed the launch of the Armenia-EU Visa Liberalisation Dialogue, readmission processes, and new opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of migration.
