Slovakia

General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Slovakia were established on 14 January 1993.

On 17 December 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Slovakia Armen Papikyan (with residence in Vienna) presented his credentials to the President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputová.

On 6 March 2015 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Armenia Peter Priputen handed over his credentials to President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

On 24 February 2020 was opened the resident Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Armenia.

On 15 November 2019 Bagrat Hakobyan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in the Slovak Republic (with residence in Bratislava).
