Commemoration event in Vienna in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide

On April 24, a commemoration ceremony dedicated to the memory of the canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide took place in the Armenian Square, located next to the Saint Hripsime Armenian Apostolic Church in Vienna.

At the event following the Divine Liturgy speeches were delivered by H.E. Armen Papikyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Austria, Bishop Tiran Petrosyan, Patriarchal Delegate of the Armenian Apostolic Church for Central Europe and Scandinavia, Andreas Minnich, Chairman of the friendship group with the South Caucasus of the Austrian National Council and Vahagn Amirjanyan, Chairman of the Armenian Apostolic Church Community of Austria.

At the end of the event, Ambassador Papikyan laid wreaths at the monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
