The Ambassador of Slovakia handed over the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia

26 September, 2022

On September 26, Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Miroslav Hatsek, on the occasion of handing over the copy of credentials.

The Deputy Minister congratulated Miroslav Hatsek as the first resident Ambassador of Slovakia to Armenia, wishing him fruitful work during his mission. He also expressed his belief that the Ambassador will contribute to the further strengthening and deepening of relations between Armenia and Slovakia.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including cooperation within the framework of the EU. The parties expressed their readiness to make all efforts towards the full realization of the existing potential of bilateral cooperation. The possibility of holding political consultations was discussed.

Paruyr Hovhannisyan thoroughly presented the latest aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia, highlighting the importance of an addressed response of the international community in condemning Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
