Discussion about Armenian Christianity in Nagorno-Karabakh, its history, and current situation took place at the University of Vienna

On March 14, H.E. Mr. Armen Papikyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Austria, took part at a panel discussion titled "Armenian Christianity in Nagorno-Karabakh: History and Current Situation" organized by the Institute of Historical Theology of the University of Vienna.

In his speech, the Ambassador thanked the organizers and speakers of the event for their important contribution to raising awareness of the threats to the rich Armenian religious-cultural heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh and for countering attempts to falsify history.

Among the speakers were the Patriarchal Delegate of the Armenian Apostolic Church for Central Europe and Scandinavia, Bishop Tiran Petrosyan, Austrian and Italian Armenologists Jasmine Dum-Tragut and Benedetta Contin.

Many researchers, professors, lecturers and students attended the event.
