H.E. Mr Andranik Hovhannisyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia, presented his credentials to the Director General of the IAEA

On November 22, Andranik Hovhannisyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Vienna, presented his credentials to Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

During the meeting, Ambassador Hovhannisyan reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to deepen and expand cooperation with the Agency in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, healthcare and other areas.

The Permanent Representative of Armenia highly appreciated the longstanding support that the IAEA has provided to Armenia over the years and the mutually beneficial cooperation.

The interlocutors highlighted the historically positive and increasingly deep cooperation between Armenia and the Agency. Both sides expressed satisfaction with ongoing efforts to ensure the safe and secure operation of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant.
