Ambassador Hovhannisyan presented credentials to Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen

On December 18, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Austria Andranik Hovhannisyan presented his credentials to Alexander Van der Bellen, the Federal President of Austria.

During the conversation, Federal President Van der Bellen congratulated Ambassador Hovhannisyan on his appointment and wished him success in his tenure.

Expressing gratitude for the warm wishes, Ambassador Hovhannisyan emphasized his commitment to strengthening and deepening bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Austria.

The interlocutors exchanged views on various international and regional issues. Ambassador Hovhannisyan also briefed President Van der Bellen on Armenia’s consistent efforts to establish lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
