Meeting between Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan and Florian Frauscher, Director General of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy

On January 16, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Austria, Andranik Hovhannisyan, met with Florian Frauscher, Director General for Economic Affairs, Innovation, and International Policy of Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy of the Republic of Austria, Co-Chair of the Austrian-Armenian Joint Economic Commission.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for deepening economic relations between Armenia and Austria and agreed to continue close cooperation to this end. They discussed opportunities to boost connections between enterprises operating in Armenia and Austria and explored practical steps for fostering such ties.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan also briefed his counterpart on the current regional situation, underscoring the importance of the “Crossroads for Peace” initiative of the Government of Armenia aimed at establishing peace, enhancing connectivity, developing infrastructure and promoting economic cooperation.
