Exhibition Opening in Klagenfurt under the Honorary Patronage of the Embassy of Armenia in Austria

On April 7, the opening ceremony of the exhibition titled "Xylon Austria meets Armenia" took place in Klagenfurt, under the honorary patronage of the Embassy of Armenia in Austria. The exhibition features works by Armenian and Austrian artists and was attended by Governor of Carinthia Mr. Peter Kaiser, Ambassador of Armenia to Austria H.E. Mr. Andranik Hovhannisyan, members of the local Armenian community, and artists.

In the opening remarks, the pivotal role of art in fostering societal connections between the two countries was highlighted, emphasizing its ability to bridge cultural commonalities and transcend geographical boundaries.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan expressed his gratitude to the organizers, praised the level of cultural cooperation between Armenia and Austria, and underscored the importance of such events in promoting Armenian art.

During the event, Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan held a short meeting with Governor Peter Kaiser, discussing prospects for further cooperation.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan also met with representatives of the local Armenian community and engaged with them in a lively discussion.
