Meeting of Ambassador of Armenia with Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Austria

On September 1, Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan held a meeting with Petra Bayr, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Austria.

During the discussion, the two sides reviewed the current state of Armenia–Austria bilateral relations, exchanged views on inter-parliamentary cooperation, and the Armenia–EU partnership.

Ambassador Hovhannisyan briefed on recent efforts aimed at promoting durable and lasting peace in the South Caucasus. He also presented the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, highlighting the potential benefits of unblocking regional transport and communication routes.

The Ambassador expressed his appreciation to Ms. Bayr for her continued engagement and cooperation on matters concerning Armenia.
