Concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour in Vienna

On May 22, under the honorary patronage of the Armenian and French Embassies in Austria, a concert evening was held at the Akzent Theater in Vienna to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the legendary Charles Aznavour.

The event featured performances of Aznavour's songs by Stella Grigoryan, an Armenian singer based in Austria, renowned Austrian actor Karl Markovics, and the acclaimed Bela Koreni orchestra.

Following the concert, a reception took place at the French Embassy in Austria where the Armenian Ambassador to Austria Armen Papikyan and the French Chargé d'affaires a.i. Mr. Frederic Joureau delivered speeches.

In his remarks, Ambassador Papikyan highlighted the symbolic nature of the joint celebration by the Armenian and French Embassies, emphasizing that Aznavour himself embodied the deep friendship between Armenia and France.

The event was attended by Austrian officials, numerous Ambassadors accredited in Vienna, cultural and public figures, and members of the Austrian Armenian community.
